Dr. David Peoples enjoys teaching music to students of all levels and abilities and brings his love of music into his private lessons. He is active in his development as a teacher and is currently a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music in Piano.
As an artist, David has toured as pianist throughout North America and Asia and has appeared on several albums. As an award-winning composer, David has been commissioned by symphony orchestras, chamber ensembles, big bands, and soloists. An A.S.C.A.P. writer, David's works are currently published through UNC Jazz Press and Blue silhouettes Music Publishing. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and The University of Memphis, where he completed Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral degrees in music.
Dr. Peoples has taught college level music courses at the University of Memphis and is currently on the faculty at the University of North Georgia. David currently resides in Buford, Georgia with his wife Diana (a concert pianist) and their three children.
